Oil prices are recorded at $ 62.68 for Brent and $ 59.28 for US crude

Oil prices today recorded 62.68 dollars a barrel, for the international benchmark Brent crude, and US West Texas Intermediate crude reached 59.28 dollars a barrel.

Global media reports said that the drop in oil prices today came after official data showed an increase in US gasoline inventories.

The "OPEC Plus" alliance reached at the end of last week an agreement on a gradual increase in oil production from May, by increasing production by 350 thousand barrels per day in May, the same in June, then 400 thousand barrels per day in July.

The OPEC Plus alliance cuts production by about seven million barrels per day to support prices.
